| Service | Charge | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Narrowbanding Modification | $100/application up to 10 frequency line items plus $10/additional frequency line item |
Reduce the bandwidth portion of existing emission designators. Analog to digital conversion is a major modification not covered by this service. Also, location and antenna data must be complete and accurate or the application will be considered a major modification. |
| New Station Below 450 MHz |
$190/Frequency/Site | Each frequency/site unit provides for up to one hour of work, with additional time billed at $100/hr. The time provided for by multiple units accumulates, applying to the application as a whole. Multiple applications submitted together will be treated as distinct projects.1 |
| New Station 450-866 MHz 2 |
$190/Frequency Pair/Site | Each frequency pair/site unit provides for up to one hour of work, with additional time billed at $100/hr. The time provided for by multiple units accumulates, applying to the application as a whole. Multiple applications submitted together will be treated as distinct projects.1 |
| New Station 800 MHz NPSPAC or 700 MHz (recommended by the appropriate RPC)2 |
$60/Frequency Pair/Site | Each frequency pair/site unit provides for up to one hour of work, with additional time billed at $100/hr. The time provided for by multiple units accumulates, applying to the application as a whole. Multiple applications submitted together will be treated as distinct projects.1 |
| Major Modification | $125/Frequency (Pair)/Site | Change station class, minor change in site elevation, power, antenna height or HAAT. Excludes new frequencies and/or sites (see New Station). Each frequency (pair)/site unit provides for up to one hour of work, with additional time billed at $100/hr. The time provided for by multiple units accumulates, applying to the application as a whole. Multiple applications submitted together will be treated as distinct projects. |
| Other Work3 | Quoted on individual case basis | Delete frequencies, perform engineering studies, prepare exhibits for a license application, prepare waivers, prepare FRN registration, search for frequencies, prepare Form 601 applications, and more. |

1 National Public Safety Interoperability frequencies in VHF and UHF (§ 90.20 c, Footnote 80) are coordinated at no additional charge if there are other chargeable coordination activities associated with a site. Sites invloving only interoperability frequencies will be invoiced at a discounted rate of $95 for any number of interoperability frequencies. Although FCCA can coordinate frequencies from any of the public-safety pools, home coordinators for each pool can assess an intercategory fee. This would apply to frequencies in the Highway (PH), fire/EMS (PF), and Police (PP) radio service pools. FCCA does not mark up these intercategory fees, but such fees will be added to the basic FCCA charges.
2 Assumes standard 450, 700, and 800 MHz base and mobile frequency pairs. If frequency pairs are being requested other than the standard FCC assigned channel assignments, the rate will be quoted on an individual case basis.
3The FCCA does not mark up intercategory service fee assessed by other public-safety coordinators.
